The U18 West Central Wheat Kings – one of the teams using the Unity Community Centre arena this winter. They will be playing here twice this weekend – Friday at 7 pm and Sunday at 2 pm. Good fast hockey with lots of local boys!

Ending the season in seventh place in their division, the Unity Midget AA Lazers are pushing hard to knock off the Warman Wildcats in the first round of playoffs in the Saskatchewan AA Hockey League. They won the first two games 6-4 and 1-0 but lost 4-1 in Warman February 21. They have a chance to win the five-game series at home Saturday, Feb. 23 – game time 8 pm.

The Unity Midget AA Lazers played back to back home games against the Warman Wildcats Nov. 15 and 16, winning their games 11-0 and 7-2. Here are some shots from third period action in the November 16 game.
