RCMP Report for December 6 to 12

UNITY SK RCMP REPORTS – December 6 to 12, 2016

RCMP received a complaint of uttering threats. Members warned the subjects of complaint. The complainant declined to lay charges.

Police are investigating a report of unwanted communication with child through a social media website.

There was a complaint of breach of peace. Members attended. No further police action was necessary.

Members were called to assist the ambulance but the request was cancelled immediately by emergency medical services personnel.

There was also one false fire alarm, one false alarm and one traffic complaint.

UNITY SK RCMP REPORTS for June 21 to 27, 2016

RCMP received a report of a hit and run causing damage to a vehicle. Reported for insurance purposes.

Police received several reports of the Canada Revenue Agency scam. No personal information was given. Information was sent to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre.

During a traffic stop a 51-year-old male from the Unity area was charged with driving while prohibited.

There was a complaint of breach of peace. Members attended and transported an intoxicated individual to a residence to remain in the care of a family friend until sober.

RCMP received a complaint of false pretences. This matter is still under investigation.

Police received a complaint of an individual lying on the service road in Unity, Saskatchewan. Members located the subject of complaint and transported him to Battlefords Union Hospital for assessment.

There was a complaint of horses on the loose on Highway 14. Members located the owner of the animals who led them back to their enclosure.

RCMP received a report of a missing dog. The complainant called back later and informed the police that the dog had been located.

Police received a complaint of harassing communications. Reported for information purposes.

Members received a request to attend a medical emergency but did not attend as the individual recovered and did not require emergency services.

RCMP received a complaint of assault. This matter is still under investigation.

There were also four traffic complaints, one noise complaint, one false 911 call and one false alarm.
