RCMP Report for September 13 to 19

UNITY SK RCMP REPORTS for September 13 to 19, 2016

RCMP received a report of damage to a railway crossing gate. Reported for insurance purposes.

Members are investigating a complaint of an individual damaging a vehicle.

Police received a complaint of damage to the windows and doors of the Armada Inn In Unity, Saskatchewan. This matter is still under investigation.

A 24-year-old Unity male was charged with possession of property obtained by crime when police received a report of a stolen bike located in a residence yard.

There was a report of suspicious people loitering in a back alley. Subjects of complaint were gone on arrival.

A 27-year-old Unity male was charged with failing to comply with a probation order, two counts of failing to comply with condition of undertaking and with disturbing the peace when police noted he was out of his residence during curfew and was causing a disturbance.

RCMP received a complaint of a vehicle driving through a gate in Scott, Sask. Members discovered the vehicle had been reported stolen from Wilkie three days earlier.  This matter is still under investigation.

Police received several complaints of an individual going through the contents of a vehicle. These matters are still under investigation.  The RCMP urges residents to lock vehicles and remove the keys and all valuables from inside the vehicle.

Members received a complaint of theft from a motor vehicle. This matter is still under investigation.

There was a report of theft in Denzil SK but it was unfounded.

Members assisted Calgary Police Services with an investigation.

A debit card was found at the Unity Golf Course. It was returned to the local bank to locate the owner.

Police received a complaint of theft from a motor vehicle. This matter is still under investigation.

RCMP completed a wellbeing check on an individual at the request of family members.

Police received a report of a combine on fire near Unity. No police action required.

Members received a complaint of a loud party at a residence. Members attended and spoke with the subject of complaint.  There were no further issues.

RCMP attended the sudden death of a 42-year-old Unity male. The death was not suspicious in nature.

A 27-year-old Unity male was charged with four counts of failing to comply with an undertaking, mischief, and resisting a peace officer when police located him standing in the roadway and obstructing motorists.

There was also one false 911 call, one traffic complaint and one false alarm.
