Today’s paper

Plenty of interesting articles to read and photos to browse through in the September 16th issue of the Unity Wilkie Press-Herald. Here are just a few examples:

  • details on the ongoing repaving of Unity streets;
  • enrolment figures from schools throughout the area (and you can compare this year’s figures to those of 50 years ago, revealed in our popular Blast from the Past feature;
  • details on work done over the summer to improve and upgrade the Unity Community centre; and
  • a Unity dance student grows up to become a member of the RUSH lacrosse team cheerleaders!

The above are just four of over 15 articles, not even counting the regular features as the editorials, the RCMP report and Blast from the Past.

  • curling season is upon us – find out what’s planned by the curling clubs in Luseland, Unity and Wilkie; and
  • a report on SaskPower public consultations regarding a proposed new substation and transmission line near Senlac.

The ads include job opportunities, business opportunities and “going out for an evening” opportunities!
