The Unity Miners defeated the Luseland Mallards 6-1 in a SWHL senior men’s hockey game held at Unity SK November 30. Shots on goal were 54 to 25 in favour of the Miners making for a busy night for the Luseland goaltender,

On the hockey side, the Miners played their last game of the season Friday night, losing to the Biggar Nationals and putting the Unity SK team out of the SWHL playoffs. Congratulations to the team of local “boys” on a good season and we look forward to next year! The Unity Midget AA Lazers opened their 2013-14 season in the Centre Four Hockey League Midget AA division with back-to-back games against the Prince Albert Raiders Oct. 12 and 13.
