RCMP Report for September 11 to 17

UNITY SK RCMP REPORTS for September 11 to 17, 2018

A 29-year-old male from Saskatoon, Sask., was charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and impaired operation (by a drug) of a motor vehicle during a traffic stop after RCMP were notified of a traffic complaint.

Members attended Unity Composite High School for a scheduled lockdown procedure practice.

RCMP attended a two-vehicle collision in Unity. There were no injuries. A traffic ticket was issued to one vehicle driver.

Police received a report of a suspicious vehicle near a business in Unity. Members patrolled but the vehicle was gone on arrival.

CN Police reported a railway crossing malfunction in a rural area near Wilkie SK. Reported for information purposes.

RCMP received a complaint of theft. This matter is still under investigation.

Police received a complaint of a break and enter into a rural residence but it was unfounded.

Members received a report of a suspicious vehicle near Senlac, Saskatchewan. The vehicle was discovered to be an enclosed trailer that had been stolen from Lloydminster.

There were also two false alarms and two false 911 calls.
