UNITY SK RCMP REPORTS for October 14 to 20

RCMP received a report of a fire in a field due to a combine hitting a power line. No injuries.

There was a noise complaint. Members referred the complaint to the bylaw officer.

Police received a report of uttering threats. This matter is still under investigation.

An individual reported hearing gunshots. Members discovered the noise was fireworks being set off and warned the subject of complaint about the noise.

There was a report of assault. This matter is still under investigation.

A 36­-year-­old Saskatoon male was charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle after members stopped a vehicle that was being driven at 151 km/hr. A 24-­year-­old male passenger was found to be in breach of his probation by consuming alcohol.

RCMP received a report of trespassing. No charges laid.

Members received a complaint that the train was taking too long to go through the crossing.

There was also one false 911 call, one false alarm and one traffic complaint.
