UNITY SK RCMP REPORTS for May 1 to 7, 2018
RCMP received a complaint of four buffalo roaming on the highway near Senlac, Saskatchewan. Members contacted the owners who agreed to locate them.
Police received a report of a single vehicle collision northeast of Evesham, Sask.. Reported for insurance purposes.
There was a report of an unwanted individual at a residence. Members attended and executed outstanding warrants of arrest on the subject of complaint and removed him from the premises.
Members assisted the Unity Heritage Museum by picking up a historic explosive device that had been donated to the museum, to ensure it has been deactivated.
There was a grass fire near Winter SK. Unity and Neilburg fire departments attended and extinguished the fire.
Members received a request to dispose of old ammunition that an individual no longer wanted at his residence.
RCMP received a report of a grass fire in a rural area near the train tracks west of Unity. Unity fire department extinguished the fire.
Members conducted a well-being check at the request of a family member.
Police received a complaint of fraud. This matter is still under investigation.
RCMP received a complaint of harassing communications. Members issued a verbal warning to the subject of complaint. Complainant declined to lay charges.
There was a report of an impaired driver but it was unfounded.
Police received a complaint of assault but it was unfounded.
RCMP received a complaint of an unwanted individual at a residence. Members attended and requested the subject of complaint leave the premises. The complainant declined to lay charges.
Members acted as mediators in a neighbour dispute.
Police are investigating a break-and-enter at Unity Golf Course.
There were also two false 911 calls and two traffic complaints.
