UNITY SK RCMP REPORTS for May 23 to May 29, 2017
RCMP received a report of an abandoned vehicle parked in Unity Regional Park. Members checked if the vehicle was stolen and updated the complainant. No further investigation was required.
Police received a Mental Health Act complaint. Members located the subject of complaint and transported him to Unity Health Centre for assessment.
Members attended a single vehicle collision east of Unity SK on Highway 14. There were no injuries.
RCMP completed a curfew check and discovered the subject of complaint was not at his approved residence at the time of curfew. This matter is still under investigation.
Members received a report of an abandoned vehicle on private property. The complainant was concerned the vehicle was stolen. When members confirmed it was not stolen, the complainant agreed the vehicle could remain parked on the property.
Police received a report of an abandoned vehicle parked in the middle of a grid road north of Luseland. The vehicle was towed as it was a traffic hazard.
Members completed a well-being check on an individual at the request of the crisis centre in North Battleford.
Police received another report of an abandoned vehicle parked on private property. Members contacted the registered owner who agreed to contact the owner of the property.
RCMP received a complaint of public mischief. This matter is still under investigation.
There were also three false 911 calls and one traffic complaint.
