UNITY SK RCMP REPORTS for July 4 to 10, 2017
RCMP received a report of a vehicle collision with a deer. There were no injuries. Reported for insurance purposes.
Police received a complaint of fraud. Reported for information purposes.
There was a complaint of a broken vehicle window. It was determined to be caused by the heat.
Members issued a 60-day roadside suspension during a traffic stop.
RCMP received a complaint of a missing person. The subject of complaint was located by Unity members and transported by Wainwright Ambulance to Wainwright Hospital for assessment.
Police received a complaint of uttering threats. This matter is still under investigation.
There was a complaint of a suspicious person looking in vehicle windows. Members patrolled but could not locate the subject of complaint.
RCMP received a complaint of taking motor vehicle without consent. The vehicle was later returned and the complainant declined to lay charges.
There were also two false alarms, one false 911 call and one traffic complaint.
