UNITY SK RCMP REPORTS, February 14 to 20, 2017
RCMP received a report of a suspicious person. Members located the individual and issued a verbal warning to stay away from private business compounds.
Police received a complaint of a break-and-enter into a residence. A 26-year-old male from Edmonton, Alberta, was charged with breaking, entering and committing, possession of property obtained by crime, possession of cannabis for the purpose of trafficking, possession of cannabis marijuana, possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose and possession of break-In Instruments. A 23-year-old male from Edmonton was also charged with possession of property obtained by crime.
There was a complaint of a hit-and-run causing damage to a vehicle. Reported for insurance purposes.
Members are investigating a complaint of fraud.
RCMP received a report of a two-vehicle collision.There were no injuries. Reported for insurance purposes.
Members served a summons to an individual at the request of Weyburn Police Services.
Police received a complaint of a barking dog. Members warned the subject of complaint and alerted the Town Bylaw Officer.
RCMP received a complaint of damage to a vehicle. This matter is still under investigation.
There was also one false 911 call and one false alarm.
