RCMP Reports for February 13 to 19

UNITY SK RCMP REPORTS for February 13 to 19, 2019

RCMP received a complaint of theft of fuel from a local gas station. Members contacted the registered owner of the vehicle who returned to pay for the fuel.  No charges were laid.

Police received a Mental Health Act complaint. Members spoke with the subject of complaint.

CN Police reported a railway crossing malfunction at a rural intersection. Reported for information purposes.

Members received another Mental Health Act complaint. The subject of complaint was left in the care of a family member.

A 72-hour roadside suspension was issued to a vehicle driver during a traffic stop in Denzil, Saskatchewan.

A 72-hour roadside suspension was issued to a vehicle driver west of Unity. A small amount of cannabis marijuana was also seized during the traffic stop.  The amount of drugs located was too small to proceed with charges.

RCMP received a complaint of uttering threats. This matter is still under investigation.

There were also two false alarms, one false 911 call and two traffic complaints.
