UNITY SK RCMP REPORTS for December 1 to 7, 2015
RCMP received a report of a lost wallet. Complainant later contacted police to inform them that an individual had located her wallet and returned it to her.
There were five complaints of fraud by phone. No personal information was given. Information was sent to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre.
Police received a report of drug trafficking. This matter is still under investigation.
Members received a Mental Health Act complaint. The complainant located the subject of complaint who was fine. No police action necessary.
RCMP received a complaint of a break and enter into an abandoned property near the Town of Unity. This matter is still under investigation.
There was a report of a vehicle collision with a deer. There were no injuries.
Members attended a two-vehicle collision on Highway 14 east of Unity. The driver of one vehicle sustained minor injuries and was transported to Unity Hospital for assessment. This matter is still under investigation.
RCMP are investigating a possible abuse issue for Child and Family Services.
There were also four false alarms, two false 911 calls and one traffic complaint.
