UNITY Sk RCMP REPORTS for November 27 to December 3, 2018

RCMP received a complaint of fraud. This matter is still under investigation.

Police received a report of a break-and-enter into a rural farmhouse. This matter is still under investigation.

Members received a report of a break-and-enter into a residence in Denzil, Saskatchewan, but it was unfounded.

RCMP attended the sudden death of a 72-year-old female in Unity, Sask. The death was not suspicious in nature.

Police received a complaint of fraud. Information sent to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre.

RCMP received a Mental Health Act complaint. The subject of complaint was transported to Battlefords Union Hospital for assessment.

There was a report of an abandoned vehicle. Members contacted the registered owner who agreed to move the vehicle.

Members received a complaint of theft. There are no suspects at this time.

Police received a report of a suspicious vehicle. Members located the subject of complaint and issued a verbal warning about parking in back alleys.

Members acted as mediators in a family dispute.

RCMP charged a 61-year-old male from the Unity area with impaired operation of a motor Vehicle during a traffic stop. The vehicle driver was also issued three traffic tickets.

There were also three false 911 calls and two traffic complaints.
