UNITY SK RCMP REPORTS for December 12 to 18
RCMP received a complaint of numerous buffalo on Saskatchewan Highway 14. Members contacted the owner who herded the animals back into a pasture.
Police received a complaint of an individual cutting a TV cable at a residence. There are no suspects at this time.
A 32-year-old female from Unity SK was charged with assault with a weapon after members received a complaint of assault.
RCMP received a report of theft but it was unfounded.
Police received a complaint of gunshots fired in a rural area near Winter, Saskatchewan. A 20-year-old male and a 20-year-old female, both from Unity, were charged with careless use of a firearm, unauthorized possession of a firearm and possession of a firearm in a motor vehicle. The vehicle driver was also issued a 60-day roadside suspension.
Members received a complaint of a cow on Highway 31. The animal was herded off the road by the animal owner.
There was also one false 911 call, three traffic complaints, and one abandoned vehicle.
