UNITY SK RCMP REPORTS for August 23 to 29, 2016
RCMP Members acted as mediators in a family dispute.
Members warned an individual about not complying with conditions of an undertaking.
Police received a Mental Health Act complaint. The individual was transported the Unity hospital for assessment.
There was a report of an intoxicated individual creating a disturbance and throwing property onto a residence lawn. Members removed the subject of complaint from the residence and transported her to another residence to remain until sober. No charges were laid.
RCMP received a report of an abandoned vehicle in a field. The vehicle was registered to a farmer who was working in the field.
CN Police reported a damaged railway crossing. Reported for information purposes.
Members received a report of theft of scrap metal. The subject of complaint was located and warned. No charges were laid.
Police received a complaint of garbage on Highway 14. Members located the owners of the garbage who cleaned up the mess. No charges were laid.
There was a complaint of trailer sewage dumped on the street but it was unfounded.
A 27-year-old male from Unity, Sask., was charged with four counts of failing to comply with an undertaking and one count of failing to comply with probation order when members received a complaint of an individual walking on the railroad tracks.
There were also three false alarms.
