UNITY SK RCMP REPORTS for August 15 to 28, 2017
RCMP received a report of a single vehicle collision. There were no injuries and no charges were laid.
Police received a report of damage to Unity Public School. There are no suspects at this time.
Members received a complaint of indecent communications. There are no suspects at this time.
RCMP received a complaint of trespassing. Members patrolled but could not locate the individual.
There was a complaint of fraud. Information sent to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre.
Police received a complaint of theft. This matter is still under investigation.
Members received a complaint of individuals damaging property at a residence but the complainant declined to lay charges.
RCMP received a Mental Health Act complaint. Members transported the subject of complaint to another residence to be in the care of a family member.
There was another Mental Health Act complaint. Reported for information purposes.
Police received a report of damage to property at an oil lease site. This matter is still under investigation.
A 43-year-old Unity female was charged with failing to comply with an undertaking after Members completed a conditions check.
An individual turned in a cellphone he found. The owner has not been located.
RCMP received a Mental Health Act complaint. Members spoke with the subject of complaint.
Members received a complaint of assault but the complainant declined to lay charges.
There was a complaint of theft. This matter is still under investigation.
An individual turned in a bike he found. The owner has not been located.
Police received a complaint of an unwanted individual at a residence. The individual had left the residence before police attended. Members located the subject of complaint and issued a verbal warning to stay away from the residence.
RCMP received a report of assault with a weapon. There are no suspects at this time.
Members attended a liquor establishment at the request of the owner to provide police presence during a busy evening.
A 43-year-old Unity female was charged with failing to comply with an undertaking and failing to comply with a probation order during a traffic stop.
Members acted as mediators in an argument between two adults.
Police received a report of a hit-and-run causing damage to a vehicle. Reported for insurance purposes.
There were also six false alarms and two traffic complaints.
