RCMP Report for August 16 to 22

UNITY SK RCMP REPORTS for August 16 to 22, 2016

RCMP member acted as a mediator in a family dispute.

Unity RCMP executed a warrant of arrest for an individual in the Unity area at the request of Probation Services.

Members assisted Saskatoon Police Services by obtaining a statement.

A 23-year-old male from Biggar, Saskatchewan, was charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle during a traffic stop.

Police received a complaint of an individual impersonating a peace officer in a Canada Revenue Agency Scam. No personal information was released.  There are no suspects at this time.

RCMP received a complaint of individuals tenting and making a mess in the Regional Park. Members located subjects of complaint and requested they clean up the mess and purchase a park pass if they wanted to remain in the park. No further complaints.

Members received a complaint of an individual lying in the ditch. A 27-year-old Unity male was charged with failing to comply with condition of undertaking and assault on a police officer.

Police received a complaint of disturbing the peace. Members located subjects of complaint and issued a verbal warning.

A 53-year-old male from Eckville, Alberta was charged with possession of cannabis marijuana and possession of oxycodone and a 51-year-old male from Eckville, Alberta was also charged with possession of cannabis marijuana during a traffic stop.

RCMP received a report of harassing communications. Members issued a verbal warning to the subject of complaint.

A 41-year-old female from Denzil SK was charged with mischief after police received a complaint of smashed windows of a vehicle in Denzil.

There was an attempted break and enter into a residence. There are no suspects at this time.

Police received a complaint of fraud but it was unfounded.

A 42-year-old Wilkie male was charged with uttering threats after police received a complaint of harassing communications.

Members received a report of a missing person but it was unfounded.

There were also two traffic complaints and four false alarms.
