UNITY SK RCMP REPORTS for August 14 to 20, 2018

RCMP received a complaint of theft. This matter is still under investigation.

Police received a report of youth on the Unity Arena roof. Members located the subjects of complaint and issued a verbal warning.

A 49-year-old male from Unity was charged with taking a motor vehicle without consent of the owner and two counts of failing to comply with a probation order after an individual complained her vehicle had been taken by a male who was intoxicated. The vehicle was located by Biggar RCMP and the subject of complaint was also charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle by Biggar Detachment.

CN Police reported a railway crossing malfunction in Scott, Saskatchewan. Reported for information purposes.

RCMP received a complaint of a suspicious vehicle in a rural area near Unity. Members patrolled but could not locate the vehicle.

Members are investigating a complaint of a stolen bicycle.

CN Police reported a railway crossing malfunction in Unity. Reported for information purposes.

Police are investigating a case of possession of property obtained by crime.

Members spoke to an individual regarding an animal complaint.

CN Police reported damage to a railway crossing arm at Unity. Reported for information purposes.

A 60-day roadside suspension was issued to a vehicle driver during a traffic stop. A traffic ticket was also issued to the vehicle driver.

RCMP received a complaint of a suspicious vehicle in a rural area near Salvador, Sask. The vehicle was gone on arrival.

There was also one false 911 call and one traffic complaint.
