RCMP Report for August 9 to 15

UNITY SK RCMP REPORTS for August 9 to 15, 2016

RCMP charged a 27-year-old Unity male with disturbing the peace, failing  to comply with his probation order and two counts of failing to comply with an undertaking after receiving a complaint of disturbing the peace.

Police received a complaint of a residence that had been egged. There are no suspects at this time.

There was a report of a grain truck on fire. Members attended. No police action necessary.

Members received a complaint of fraud. Information sent to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre.

RCMP received a report of gunshot sounds. Members also heard the sound and determined it to be a bear banger used to scare bears away.

Police received firearms from an individual who no longer wanted possession of them.

Members spoke with an individual regarding a land disagreement.

RCMP received a complaint of a break and enter at a rural residence near Senlac, Saskatchewan. This matter is still under investigation.

There were also five false 911 calls, seven traffic complaints and one false alarm.
