UNITY SK RCMP REPORTS for October 20 to 26, 2015
Members delivered a next-of-kin notification to a family at the request of another RCMP detachment.
A black and yellow bag carrying electronic equipment was turned into RCMP. The owner has not been located.
Police received a complaint of a male pushing garbage bins over so the trash spilled onto the sidewalk. Members made patrols but could not locate the subject of complaint.
Canadian Pacific Railway Police contacted Unity RCMP to report an individual standing on the railway tracks in Unity. The train initiated an emergency stop. Members patrolled but the subject of complaint was gone on arrival.
RCMP received a complaint of the theft of fuel from a local gas station. There are no suspects at this time.
Unity fire department and Unity RCMP responded to a small fire at Wilkie Independent Living. The fire was extinguished by the time members and fire department arrived. The fire was not suspicious in nature.
Members received a report from CN Police of a railway arm malfunction.
There was also one traffic complaint.
