RCMP Reports for May 16 to 22

UNITY SK RCMP REPORTS for May 16 to 22, 2017

RCMP Members noted two intoxicated individuals walking on the street. Members released the individuals into the care of a sober friend.

Police received a complaint of fraud. Information sent to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre.

A 56-year-old male from Regina was charged with possession of methamphetamine during a traffic stop.

Members received a complaint of harassing communications but it was unfounded.

RCMP received a report of failure to comply with an undertaking. This matter is still under investigation.

An individual turned in unused ammunition to police for safe disposal.

There was also one traffic complaint and one false alarm.

RCMP Reports for May 9 to 15

UNITY SK RCMP REPORTS for May 9 to 15, 2017

RCMP received a complaint of fraud. Member sent information to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre.

Police received a complaint of theft of fuel from a local gas station. Members contacted the subject of complaint who returned to pay for the fuel.  No charges were laid.

There was a report of a lost cellphone. The phone has not been located.

Members received a report of a single vehicle collision with a deer. There were no injuries.  Reported for insurance purposes.

RCMP received a report of a break-and-enter at Salvador, Saskatchewan. Members and key holder attended.  Key holder believed he may have accidentally left the door ajar.

There was also one false 911 call.
