RCMP Report for June 14 to 20

UNITY SK RCMP REPORTS for June 14 to 20, 2016

CN Police reported a broken railway crossing gate.

RCMP received a complaint of a male jumping in front of traffic. The individual was taken to Battlefords Hospital for assessment.

A 72-year-old male from Unity was charged with refusal to provide breath sample during a traffic stop.

A 26-year-old Unity male was charged with mischief and failing to comply with a probation order when officers located him lying on the highway. Members also transported him to Battleford Hospital for assessment.

Police received a complaint of a male swearing at another individual in a vehicle and kicking the vehicle. This matter is still under investigation.

Members are investigating graffiti spray painted on two businesses in Unity.

RCMP attended a house fire at a rural residence. It was later discovered to be a controlled burn. Police action not necessary.

Police received a complaint of theft at Suffern Lake, SK. This matter is still under investigation.

Members are investigating a report of drug trafficking.
